Paneer Tikka



Ingredients

Paneer- 400gms
Tomato-1 large
Bell pepper( capsicum) -1
Onions- 1 sliced
Lemon wedges- 4  

For marinade 1
Yogurt (thick curd) -1 cup
Mint chutney- 1/4th cup ( click on the link to get recipe for mint chutney)
Salt- taste
Corn flour-1 tsp
Chaat masala- 1tsp(optional)


For marinade -2
Yogurt (thick curd)-1 cup
Tandoori masala powder- 4 tsp
Salt - to taste
Chili powder-to taste
Corn flour -1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste -1 tbsp(optional)
Chaat masala - 1tsp (optional)



Preparation
  • Cut the paneer into 1/2 " thick cubes and marinate
  • Cut tomato and bell pepper into cubes.
  • Mix all the ingredients  listed under marinade.Make 2 separate marinade and check for taste. 
  • Divide the paneer and cut vegetables in to 2 different sets and coat them with  marinade. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
  • Arrange the paneer and vegetables on the skewers and grill at 200C for 20-25 minute.
  • If you don't have oven you can grill them on hot tava /griddle  using oil or without oil. Cook until paneer and veggies turn golden brown, make sure you cook them on both sides. You could use tooth pick to skew paneer and veggies.
  • Serve hot with sliced onion and lemon wedges on the side.
