Ingredients
Paneer/cottage cheese- 200 gms
Jeera/cumin seeds- 1 tbsp
Chopped onion- 2
Chopped tomato-3
Slit green chilies- 2
Chopped capsicum-1
Salt - to taste
Chili powder- 1/4th tsp
Kitchen king masala- 1/2 tsp
Fennel powder-1/4th tsp
Tandoori masala- 1/2 tsp or Garam masala
Amchoor powder/ Dry mango powder(optional)- 1/4th tsp
Oil-4 tbsp
Water- 1 cup
Preparation
- Cut paneer into desired shape and shallow fry them until light brown in color and drain them on tissue. Put the fried paneer into water ( to removes excess oil and to keep paneer soft)
- In a pan take oil and heat it up, add cumin seeds once it crackles, add slit green chilies and fry for few seconds
- Add chopped onion cook until onion becomes translucent. Add the capsicum and cook them. Now add chopped tomato and cook until it turns soft.
- Add all the spice powder and mix well. Take fried panner out of water and put them into the pan and mix well with rest of the veggies and cook for couple of minutes until its is coated with spice powders. Enjoy the hot kadai paneer with roti.
