Tomato Dosa

Tomato dosa
Ingredients

Rice 1 cup
Channa Dal ( Bengal Gram)-  3 tbs
Whole Moong dal (Green Gram) -1 tbs
Ural Dal  ( Black Gram) -1 tbs
Dry Red Chilies-3
Ripe tomatoes -3
Cumin powder- 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
Salt as per taste

Preparation
  • Wash and soak rice, all the dals ( lentils) and red chillies in water  for 3 hours.
  • Grind the red chillies along with tomato, cumin and coriander powder.
  • Now grind the soaked rice and dals into a fine paste and blend with the tomato and red chili paste (prepared earlier), add salt and rest the batter for 1 hour.
  • Heat the griddle, pour a ladle-full of  batter and spread in a circular motion.
  • Drizzle oil all around the dosa, cook on a medium heat for couple of minutes, flip and cook on the other side  until done. 
  • Enjoy this dosa with coconut chutney.
