Ingredients
All purpose flour- 2/3 cup
Corn flour-1/4th cup
Cauliflower florets- 1 medium cut into bite size pieces
Pepper powder-1/2 tsp
Baking soda- 2 pinch
Ginger garlic paste- 2 tbsp
Salt-1/2 tsp or to taste
Oil- to deep fry
Water
For gravy
Chopped onion-1/2 cup
Oil-2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste- 1-2 tbsp
Soy sauce- 3 tbsp or to taste
Green onion- 1/2 cup
Chili sauce-2 tbsp or to taste
Tomato sauce- 2 tbsp
Slit green chili- 2
Green bell pepper (Capsicum) - 1/4th cup
Preparation
- Make batter by mixing corn flour, all purpose flour,ginger garlic paste, pepper powder, baking soda,salt and water.
- Dip the Cauliflower florets in the batter and deep fry ( on a medium flame) them until golden brown in color and drain the excess oil.
- Simultaneously start making the sauce. Take a pan heat oil, add ginger garlic paste,onion, bell pepper and slit green chilies and cook until onion turns translucent
- Add in the soy sauce, chili sauce, tomato sauce and stir well and cook for few minutes on low flame.
- Add the fried cauliflower in the sauce and mix well, garnish with green onion and serve hot.
